Dock C - a pressure dock of the Bundesmarine. In duty by the navy since 1965 for the submarines of class 206 till 2016. Then it was sold.
It will come in static variants for scenery building too.

The purpose is to find little damages to the hull of a submarine and you can test max depth for submerge without loosing your sub and crew.
There is a nice statement for this on net...but it is in german... you have to translate this on. There are photos of the origninal inside.

After doing most modern ships of the German Navy i started to do the first base of the "Bundesmarine". It is called "Eckernförde". Homebase of the german submarines, some suplyships and also base of the german Seals called "Kommando Spezial Kräfte Marine (KSK M). In former times they have been called "Kampfschwimmer"
