If I were you, I would do windows 7 instead of Windows 10. By the way... you should check out a thread that mentions cfs2 on windows 10.

I have it running fine on Windows 8.1, 64-bit. The only glitch is that when the game is in full screen mode the plane previews don't show in the preview window.

    BD,
I have been using Windows 10 and, knock on wood, everything is working well. I agree, go through the thread before you install. It helped me to avoid the pratfalls that could have been encountered. There is some very useful info in there.

ps. It appears that Windows 10 has the same problem that Maskrider described.

Well if you have an extra $200.00 in your pocket, stick with the XP pro by ReCircuit
I have purchased two, both working great..faster than I am used to though.

    Personal Recommendation

I repair, reload, refurbish & build new PC's. I do my utmost to give my clients the best performance, price & value for their home PC requirements.
About 7 months ago I stumbled across an extremely good deal on a line refurbished HP desktops.

Fast & capable at an unbeatable price.
I can't build an equal PC from parts for anywhere near this price.
These units were originally produced in mid 2012 to mid 2013

HP Compaq Pro 6300 MARS (Refurbished) (MARS is the company that refurbished them)
    Micro-tower Desktop,
    Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.2Ghz, (4 core / 4 thread, 3rd gen i5, Ivy Bridge)
    8GB Memory, (DDR3-1600)
On Board GPU aprx. 2 GB shared RAM(VGA & DVI ports)
500G SATA HDD, (Western Digital Blue series)
    DVDRW,
    GigaLAN,
    4x USB 2.0 & 4x USB 3.0 ports (4 front / 4 rear)
    Windows 10 Home 64 BIT
    1 Year Warranty

In Canada: $329 In U.S. around $250 or less

The on-board GPU has VERY impressive performance.

Motherboard has a PCIE x16 slot for graphics card but only a 320 watt power-supply so it will only run a lower end card (low power)
P/s would need to be upgraded to minimum 650 watts ($80?) to run an Nvidia GTX 650 (min. 400 watts) which would elevate the graphics output to the HOLY CRAP / OMG / "wet the chair" level.

    - has an internal mount for a 2nd hard drive
    - has 3 SATA power connectors (C drive, DVD & a spare)
    - has 3 SATA data connectors (C drive, DVD & a spare)I usually yank the original HD and install a 500GB or 1TB WD Black series & load Win7 Ultimate x64.
    - I keep the orig. HD with Win10 x64 for future consideration (legal copy)
    - I usually install an Nvidia 210 graphics card (1GB DDR3 RAM - $40) because it has an HDMI port allowing connection to flat screen TV's(for Home Theater use).. recently I noticed that the on-board GPU scores much higher in the "Windows Experience" rating than the Nvidia 210 card.

    BTW:
2009 thru 2013 I was dual-booting WinXp & Win7 x64 and found the difference to be like night & day.

WinXp graphics look old & grainy (total crap IMHO) compared to Win7 when running on the same PC.

    Blue Devil,

At this point you could get by with a monkey and an organ grinder.
