    P-61 Update

I have begun to work on the P-61 again. In order to get it to my current modeling standard there will be a fair amount of rework that needs to be done in the VC. Most of the work is needed to have parts that have ambient occlusion shading, which makes a big difference in the finished product. I decided to start with the cockpit framework, which is getting all new sheet metal.

In the course of adding parts to the shell I started to have problems with things not fitting the way the pictures I have said they should. I also never liked the the wave in the sill piece that runs the length of the cockpit on both sides. I did a reality check by creating a 3-view box in the modeling program and determined that there were some issues in cross sections and dimensions that led to a fair amount of body work. I'm starting to adjust all that framework I recently made to fit the new shell.
