    Hamilcar

Have just uploaded the Hamilcar to the library - this is the last in the glider series Uncle and I have been doing - this heavy lift glider was involved in the Allied airborne assaults at Normandy , Arnhem and the Rhine Crossing

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - British

Description: The largest combat glider of WWII - the GA Hamilcar could carry a small tank (The Tetrarch at Normandy, the M20 Locust at the Rhine Crossing) or a variety of heavy vehicles or supplies.

It was used in the three major North European airborne attacks - Normandy, Arnhem, and the Rhine Crossing.

To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit Hamilcar.zip
The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.
