Hi
Been off the air for a bit but have not been idle - about ten years ago I modelled some British gliders as well as the German DFS 230 - well I revisited the German a/c and now have turned my hand to the British ones.
With the help of UncleTgt I have made the GA Hotspur trainer glider and it will soon be ready for release - it is our intention to recreate the gliders used by British and American Airborne Forces during WWII. Also on the stocks is the aircraft used as a tug in the training program.
By using the Tow gauge it is possible to fly these gliders without bothering too much about air file parameters plus there are several aircraft in the library to act as tugs by means of an addition to the gliders dp file. Similarly the tug aircraft can haul a glider by an addition to the dp.
I would ask Rami to remove the Horsa and Hamilcar gliders from the library as they are not really up to the standard we want today.
In the meantime here are some pics of the Hotspur
all the best
