Will get the dc4 for sure, but can i ask: is there any possible purchase package discount for people who buy both versions (fsx/p3d)?
Iīm on the currency conversion problem too. If i buy both it will be too expensive. At least for now.

Hope someone will do the " Independence " that was President Truman's version of Air Force One .

Very fortunate to only live about an hour and forty-five minutes east-southeast of the National Museum of the Air Force .

Rich, if you want to fly Trumanīs "Independance" you have to buy PMDG DC-6. There is a nice VC-118 livery available.

    Sorry Jens Christensen!

Looks like the days of Jens Dc-4 are over. I used it and loved it a lot but this package is awesome!
Ok, I am deaf now because of the engine sounds but thatīs just fine...
Canīt wait for some nice repaints by Matt - a Buffalo maybe?

Truman's VC-54 was the "Sacred Cow." Always loved that name!

Here's my first attempt at using the paintkit:

I still need to find a few bits and pieces, but overall very nice, thanks, Mike!
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.

Sorry , stand corrected . When you get my age things like this start happening on a regular basis . Need to get back to the Museum of the Air Force . They opened a new hanger last year that now houses all of the Presidential aircraft . Before they were across the field on part of Wright Patterson AFB . You're right , " Sacred Cow " is quite the name .

you wouldn't have any wireframe maps? I'm having a hard time with the ailerons. Other than that, it is nicely laid out, not too many problems.

of course, I could also make the triangles smaller so they don't touch the ailerons...

Looks fantastic thus far. A lot of potential subjects here as virtually every post-WW2 airline had DC-4's/C-54's on their books at some point.
As always, enjoy all the efforts put in.

You should find the wireframe maps as the very bottom-most layer of the principle wing texture (eg. NS_Wing_L.psd)

Rooseveltīs and Trumanīs VC-54C, 272752, build 1946. A special C-54, nicknamed the Sacred Cow, became the first presidential aircraft. With high polish textures. Created without repaintkit. WIP.

I found the wire frame at the bottom of the list. It is called "Background". In order for it to show you must untick the dark grey box directly above it.

    Cheers
