A great little flyer - smooth and slight, and I love that cowling.

Looks great, looking forward to it.

BTW, have you ever considered doing a Douglas World Cruiser?

When I was a pilot I always wished I could afford a restored Luscombe Phantom...but hey I'll settle for the virtual model! Thank you...

    Project update

Looks like its been awhile since we updated on our progress so here goes. The project is nearing completion and expect beta testing to begin later this week. Hope for release a few weeks after. As usual SOH will have first shot at a discounted offer before general release

This the view at the door. The VC will have custom sound effects associated with animations. Three land plane liveries will be included with two cowl configurations. A float plane is being developed.

Over 1200 views and no comments? I’ll make one.

A really nice model of something I never heard of before. Outstanding exterior details. outstanding work on the pilot also.

You guys seem to have the market cornered on vintage aircraft. Look forward to each release.

Just to add what everyone else has added Paul . Have always been a huge fan of GAS aircraft and have always felt like I was there so to speak and reliving flying a vintage aircraft . Looking forward to this project and all future aircraft GAS chooses to make .

Thanks guys for the kind words. Generally speaking we build what we would like to fly, hoping others might as well. It's not surprising that many have never heard of this aircraft, only 25 were built. It was notable because it was the company's first all metal aircraft, with the exception of the wing panels which were cloth covered over aluminum wing ribs. It first flew in 1934 and the economic pressures coupled with a high purchase price ~$6000.00 (145,000 in 2017 USD) , and a reputation for skittish ground handling characteristics caused the company to drop the line for more profitable models. In flight, and in the sim, it's a real nice cruiser clipping along at 140 mph behind the 145 Warner Super Scarab. We've enjoyed flying it during development and hope others will, as well.
