Three shots taken near Munising, U.P., MI. in late Aug. The insects land on the flowers for the night. As the temperature drops, the insects go to sleep and stay like that until the warming sun awakes them around mid-morning. They make great macro subjects. Sort of like taking pictures of airplanes parked on the ramp.
