Newman will advance himself in theChasePlayoffs any way he can, whether that be by blocking or putting another driver into the wall. I don't know how much that really affected who was going to win. Kyle had fresher tires than Chase, so even if there had been no lap traffic, it would have been real close.
My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
I like Jeff Gordon, and I get what he was trying to do. Or say. But I have to agree with Kyle Petty on this one. Jeff, dude, you were not in the race, you were not there driving. Not your place to get in the middle of it like you did. And at that point in the race, with what was on the line, it wasn't Newman's job to help a fellow Chevy driver in any way. Dang. Jeff knows that. And Chase's soul draining defeatism every time he gets close to winning, but doesn't, is getting old. Probably to his team as well. Take a page from Kyle Larson's book...
