    Back after many years

Thinking about getting back into CFS2 after being away for many years. Want to stick with the PTO.Have been with CFS3 since the begining and drifted away from CFS2 then. Also big into Il-2 '46,Falcon 4.0 BMS ,Flaming Cliffs,WOFF,and ROF.Was into modding CFS2 back in the day but have forgotten most of it in the many years away. Will start slow by adding aircraft and slowly learn more as time passes. Remember it fondly so hoping it will be fun again. Noticed a lot more activity here than at the CFS3 section.Been playing CFS3 less and less since Il-2 '46 VP modpack and BAT has been taking up much of my time. WOFF is another big drain but i still remember all the fun i had with CFS2 in the glory days. Will install tomorrow and start reading up all i can to get caught up. Must have been at least 10 years since i've been away so it's a lot of catching up. Regards,Scott

welcome back Scot , I loaded up Cliffs of Dover to compare the flight model , and was rather impressed with the vidio clips
posted to watch , The flight loop rate is quite fast , but watching it on video with out knowing the input it seemed to look like it was slower . wider loop rate , such was not the case , when you start flying it , It,s actually faster in loop than Cfs-2,
But it did provide good insight to Trim control , and that was much slower , and I can see where some aircraft in Cfs-2 ,
need some tweaking , in regard to trim control,s

Thank you all for the info. Will get it installed today. Was going to do this earlier because of the BoB expansion but didn't like the CFS1 scenery used. Will keep CFS2 strictly in the PTO. After so many years away i hope i can remember things related to CFS2. Used to have it modded heavily back in the day. Will keep it simple for now. Regards,Scott

BoB and BoE use CFS2 style ground scenery now. Rami has a guide on installing the ground scenery.

Welcome back SixStrings : For the PTO you can find 3 campaigns that I have modernized and redone: USS Saratoga CV-3; Desperate Battles; and USS Essex CV-9 campaigns in the library among other good campaigns and missions. Have fun!
