    Iris pc-21.....?

    Hello Chaps,

Has anyone got the IRIS PC-21 to work in P3Dv3.4 and or P3Dv4 at all?

Also I have had a look in the SOH Library for a RAAF paint for it but can not seem to find one. Is there one out there at all....?

    Cheers,
    Tim.

From the reviews and posts at avsim it wasnt well received by the general public

I dont like your chances on finding that scheme

My suggestionis try asking on their facebook page as their fan base is getting smaller and smaller

It works just fine. I did my own "civilian" repaint and fly it quite often.

    Works In P3D v4

I've installed the 75th Anniversary Ed. PC-21 in v4. Seems to work well, but only 4 liveries. Cntl-E does not start engines, just go to control display unit on the cockpit right side for a start. The PC-21 has always impacted my FPS by 4 or 5 and that continues in v4. YMMV.

(P.S. I forgot to mention that I installed / added the PC-21 using the "Addon .xml file" method, so I do not know what result you will get by using any other method of installation.)

This is a really old thread, but I just came across a paint for the Roulettes for the Iris PC-21 and saw this thread.

I don't actually have it, but the reviews I read were all good on the Iris PC-21. I may go and grab it now.

Edit: I did go and grab it, and it is awesome just like their PC-9.

"Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there".

Scott - Thanks for the links to paints. There are some additional paints at flightsim.com (a flat gray, an olive drab and blue / white scheme). Next time I'm on my desktop computer (where I have the info) I'll post the links.

P.S. Found the link in the FSX Forum for those paints - http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...released/page4

The PC-21 will install natively in P3dv3 by just pointing the installer to the directory.

Things are a little more complex for P3dv4. The sound gauge dll file is 32-bit so it must be replaced with a 64 bit version and the panel cfg edited. Otherwise it works great in v4.
