Glad you like them. I have plenty more 262's underway, I also have a last few 109K's to get uploaded once I have done the last checks and paperwork for them.

Ah... more MiG's. I knew you'd fall off the wagon sooner than later. That's a good thing tho... one never has too many MiG's.

I am but a poor MiGaholic, banned from most rehab institutions. therefor it's the systems fault that I paint so many.

Here's an update on tonight's progress. I am experiencing some major texture pull weirdness on the leading edge slats which has slowed progress a bit but I have just about figured it out.

When I look at the time you made your post, your "tonight" was almost morning again!

From personal experience I know repainting is very addictive, and there is always a minor thing you want to change or improve before you stop. But you should also make sure you don't turn your night into day..............
I do not really complain, as the repaints actually look very nice!

    Cheers,
    Huub

SWEET! Got them both. You have to stop tripping over paint buckets, get out of the paint shop, lock the doors and GET SOME REST! Your paints are superb, Steve, but they're looking more and more like the REAL THING! (Regarding those unusual and somewhat exotic patterns the Germans used on their Me's and Fw's, brought about by shortages of paint and drinking the thinners....).

After talking with an FSX 109K owner and Mike at Flight Replica's, I can now confirm that my repaints for the FS2004 model will not work on the FSX model.
However I may have a Baldrick style cunning plan too remedy this .
