First thing I thought when I saw Rami's screenshots was "Hey, here is the place to use Baldy's Blenheum Mk.IV with UncleTgt's 'Mast High Over Rotterdam' skins"!

Great job, can't wait to fly there!

Great pics bearcat! The AVG #48 brings back memories. The P-40 was my favorite plane to paint.

Shouting "fire!" to the gunner, I heard one loud bang - and silence. All the guns had jammed. The German flew off with a startled puff of brown smoke from his engines."
    Hiya UT,

What AC is that in the above posted screenshot?

How To Be Positive When Surrounded By Negativity

You might sometimes feel like you're surrounded by negative energy. Whether it's coming from a hostile work environment or a difficult social group, it can really bring us down (literally).

When you find yourself surrounded by negative people, use them to help you move out of the negative space.

Thanks Scott..CFS3 is still on my sim drive, but i haven't booted it for several years now. I like the simplicity of CFS2. Maybe i'll get back to CFS3 and play with some action shots again.

Really glad to be back into CFS2 but like the greater immersion CFS3 has to offer with graphics and more. The air combat and available aircraft to choose from and the Eastern Front make CFS2 a must have for me.CFS3 lacks a Eastern Front and some features in the PTO that CFS2 covers well. Both are great in their own ways and then there is IL-2...

    If anybody knows,

I have been trying to use the upward pointing guns in the turret of Jed Marsh's Blackburn Roc to do fly-under shoot-ups of my favorite bombers, but to no avail. I can't get it to work, The guns fire but not upward. Just straight back. And I have raised the turret using the D key. Is there a secret?

Also getting "Can't find model" messages about:

    wep_pahpylon
    wep_pah30lbs

No where to be found in any of my archives.

    Cheers,
    MR

    MR

Download my Roc skinpack + use the dp file. It has the guns configured to fire upwards, the same as the Padbury Defiant.

The weapons are PAH weapons.zip, IIRC they were originally part of the Padbury Battle +/or Skua packages.

While looking into Thunderbolts in the CBI i found this as a common RAF escort pairing in Burma and India. The Jugs of 135 Squadron doing overwatch for the Liberator B MKV's of 356 Squadron.

    Nice shots BC.

Here are a few I took just messing around today.

I got so frustrated trying to shoot down bombers with my Blackburn Roc- has anyone noticed that it is very hard to find a bomber that flys slower than a Roc?- that I switched over to shooting down B-29s with my Nakajima J1N1s "Irving" Much for satisfying.

Also took a few screenshots of the two AC you were using.

My version of the B24 doesn't seem to be as well behaved as yours. Notice the constantly elevated elevators? Strange, eh? It flys level enough but for some reason the elevator stay elevated.

Also, my P47 seems to be missing the exhaust effects.

    Cheers,
    MR

    The Easter Sunday Raid

The Easter Sunday Raid (or Battle of Ceylon) was an air attack by carrier-based aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy against Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), on Easter Sunday, 5 April 1942, during the South-East Asian theatre.

The Hurricanes of No. 30 Squadron RAF (RAF Ratmalana, Colombo), No. 258 Squadron RAF (Colombo Racecourse) and No. 261 Squadron RAF (China Bay, Trincomalee) rose to the defense.
