Kurt, you lost me on the poly color thing????

The pilot is borrowed from "flight replicas" and of course the AC is from Oldliner52.... i just scasmed coded them both together.

Oh, sorry. I thought you would get that. Every model has a base, i.e. default, color for the polygons. Colors can be assigned to them as needed, individually or as grouped together that make up a part. The texture bitmaps are painted over the part. In the case of the canopy, the poly base color should be clear or lightly tinted rather than an opaque base color, in this case a gray shade. Normally you would not paint a canopy glass part with the bitmap. You could use the alpha channel to force it to be clear but that can lead to anything seen behind the glass as also disappearing.
