    Wow, UT.

    What can I say.

    She is beautiful!

Your various new and sundry transport AC are all such nice additions to our beloved old Sim.

And now another 10 AC to add to the mix! Awesome!

Thanks very much to you and every one else who lent a hand for putting in the time and effort.

    MR

PS Just downloaded everything. Won't be able to get them loaded up until later this evening! Looking forward to it.

I'm using coltshall as a testing area for my terrain textures and came across what I'm sure is Norwich. Somebody placed a lot of objects here.

Don't look much like Naarich, boy!

Not known for it's heavy industry and there's no covered market...

But looking good, be careful of those very bright green fields. I appreciate those are summer texs, but maybe toned down a touch?

Bright enough for ya, a failed brightness experiment.

I'll probably release the terrain as it is, so that you can test it in game, and then release a version2 based on constructive criticism.

    Hi R,
I'm not sure as being 'failed'?? If you've just brightened just the picture then yes (cheat! ha!). But, if you have tweaked the texture colour/lightness then much much better, I like it a lot.

    Nice work!

I did adjust 56 textures to get that result. The problem with the bright textures is that down low they don't look that good, especially the town and village textures. I now have so many versions of this terrain my head is spinning. These I worked on today.

I revisited the original screenshots and removed some contrast to get a more natural look. I also discovered why I added the contrast in the first place. The contrast does add a bit more darkness and vibrance but it also removes a washed out look and gives the texture more depth. In the end its a bit of a juggling act. I'll probably release a few versions to satisfy various tastes.

    I do appreciate the input,thanks.

    Good idea R,

    And choice is good!

It is difficult with such an old sim to get things to work at all heights. For example you can use CFS1 texs BUT they are like your saturated high contrast ones, look good from very high, but too much at medium and low heights. There is a lot of moisture in our air and this gives a lot of haze, which in turn will make the colours less vibrant, personally I think that last set looks just about right....

I'll be releasing the completed darker version shortly, and the lighter version(in the last screenshots) a bit later as I'm still editing some of the textures.
