SSW PA200 Tornado tailored to x64 Prepar3D v 4.0.0 has been published at SSW site:

SSW TORNADO FEATURES
- Moving Map Display using real aeronautical charts with super imposed airspaces, airports and navaids aeronautical layers, also TPC 500k charts are available for Italy,Germany an England
- Terrain following radar linked to flight director and autopilot, TFR is based on real SRTM elevation data
- Ground Mapping Radar with dynamically computed radar shadows
- NAV auto steering mode
- Dynamic Drag Index concept, external stores load/drop affect not only the weight but also the aerodynamic drag
- Wing sweep between 25° and 67° affect the aerodynamic behaviour changing the position of center of lift and inertia moments as well,
- Spin Prevention system
- TacPack (when available for P3D v4) and vACMI compatible, it requires at least vACMI installed, vACMI is free.
- vACMI supports following weapons:
* AIM9 L/H with head-to-head capability
* MK82/83 free fall and retarded
* GBU12
* AGM-88 HARM antiradiation missile
* AS-34 anti-ship KORMORAN missile

- Optimized model for multiplayer to assure high FPS in online sessions, those model are named "UBUNTU"
- Tornado embedded tablet connected to a web site constantly updated, tablet will show normal and special procedures, new update and news of interest for users.

RELEASE NOTES
PA200 package split in 2 files:
- Core files which should be purchased (227 Mb)
- Textures and liveries (576 Mb) which can be freely downloaded from site

Got that one. Without TP in v4 VACMI is a good alternative for delivering weapons.

Mario has not announced it but in their site it seems that the Harrier is also available for v4.

Outstanding product, now without OOMs for me. I have been notified that there is a minor bug with the map layers and some other small stuff but all in all this is an incredible addon. Bugs will be rectified soon, I've learned. If you run the sim with dynamic reflections enabled the main canopy get a distinctive tint of blue, like the MILVIZ F-86F. Turning the dynamic reflections off takes this away. Well done Sim Skunk Works :-) Great FPS and systems, now to learn everything :-)
PS: I cannot see the textures on the RAF GR4 from 41 sqn getting loaded, are these supposed the be there?

SSW sent me an email. I bought it. Will look at it tonight after watching my Tigers.

I installed it and sent in my order number and email. However, when I loaded it in PD3 v4, all the textures were black. I switched to the Milviz F4U and it was fine. I guess I will have to play with it?

Excuse me for being less than grateful. However, that is lot of work and complication to get one single airplane to fly. For 48 USD, I would have thought it would a little less complicated. Doesn't Simskunk works know the first law of commerce; Keep it Simple for the Stupid consumer?

I received an activation key this morning. I haven't tried anything yet. But if I have to download the textures as well as the program files, I will think long and hard before buying another add on from these guys. Sad, really. I like them and love their name. But, if I have to do acrobats to get it to run...

It's not that hard, really. Just a series of auto installers, to be done one by one in sequence. In the end you have a busload of repaints and a virtually fully working weapon system with TF capability and moving maps.

In the Tornado they have even introduced Ctrl-E starting as shortcut for the first time.

My backside, it isn't that hard. I have a series of texture folders. They show all the different nationalities and squadrons. All that is in each folder is a cfg file and a thumbnail. When Milviz, or Aerosoft, or even Carenado packages an airplane the basic textures are in the exe. If I want additional textures, I can go and download them. However, you don't need to download the default textures.

I went to where Yo Yo said to go for textures. I can't find any. All I have is a series of black airplanes and cockpits.

I have problem with maps (moving map: RPMD).

As I understand I must download two exe files (for example Italy):
- STOCK MAPS FILES
- STOCK TERRAIN & RADAR MAPS FILES

Installed both to P3Dv4 main folder:
- Prepar3Dv4\SimSkunkWorks\WebSimConnect\www\RPMD\ma ps\ (I see 4 folders Airports, Base, Geometries, Navaids after this)
- Prepar3Dv4\SimSkunkWorks\WebSimConnect\www\ESRRD\ (new fils I see in HGT folder and in SCRIPTS)

ESRRD works but RPMD not (I see only changes in colour to brown when its "ON").

Its only "feature" for eye candies, thats all, not like in F-14 X of Aereosoft (but as I remember it's a BASIC version, in Advanced they promised to do, but it was years ago), it always eats FPS too...

Landing.... not many tests but 165 kts it's ok here (dosen't too much?)
