Perhaps Fraser McKay's 2D panel might offer help and could be incorporated if needed.
Obviously his permission is necessary. His work on the bitmaps, gauges and systems is impressive.

I have input it as 2 D to fly at all (FDE is very good) but VC will take longer. There is no gauge layer in FS2004 output so we have to start from gMAX - which will take a while. And Frasers splendid gauges partially do not work in FSX/P3D -->the engine gauges show no reading.

    Anyway. Way to go

The ones which want to help please send me a PM

That as we have in all that files also gages bitmaps, which follow shown panel

    Best regards Roland

Below samples and where we have to arrive

Outside of an inverter light, a light switch or two, Fraser's panel works pretty well, engines included. (FSX-A)

I have used some of FM guages for my JetStar II panel (not much though). I have the email for permission to use them still. He was very gracious and doubt he would object still. This is a FS9 version though.

    Hi Greg

Would you share panel.cfg and bitmap with me?
No big progress yet as for FSX-P3DV4-5 we need new gmax output odf VC+interior and for MSFS 2020 all need to be new

    Best regards

    Roland

Probably not. Again this is all custom gauge and bitmap work that I still run in fs9. Just saying that Fraser is probably still willing to oblidge in using his codes/material. The FSD version JS was the one plane I was really wanting so when It went caput, I learned a lot to make something for me. Greg

    Hello

    Back here again -->Version 1 FSX+P3D

Sorry took a lot of time-only today I found a way to show the gauges in the VC

And as it is empty need a day to arrive what you see in VC-->The blue Jaeger Tachometers are just place holders-->To see where the gauges belong in VC
All gauges are from somewhere and have copyright-need to be made and/ or contact to the Author

    So I need HELP

XML gauges designer - we have the bitmaps for the engine gauges,AOA, many others-->drop me a PM

2 serious test pilots in FSX as I work in P3DV4.3-->it flys (well) but is way unfinished-->drop me a PM

2 serious test pilots in P3D -->drop me a PM

MDLX help as still there is flicker and ( look to Copilot ADI ) gauge does not show--> I will talk to fsdeveloper

    Best regards

    dear All

I am getting a bit closer, but way to go still

    by now we have

a well flying model, mostly fly in its envelop
An outsidemodel which is good and works in FSX and P3DV4.5
An VC model where, sunshades(both cockpit and cabin ) tabels, seat, armrests, most of gauges, many switches, doors windows, levers, controls, thrust reversers... work

What does not work yet is (Animations not function)

    Overhead switches apart lights
Fuel switches and center console switches
    Hide Yoke
some VC areas are still blurred
Some gauge areas refuse to show ( ADI of Copilot, ....)

As for test some gauges are borrowed off many other planes-need to be replaced, and some I will ask authors to borow

ANY GAUGE DESIGNER (XML) WHICH WANTS TO HELP VERY WELCOME

    Best regards

    Roland

Pictures are off P3DV4.5 Off KSAN (Orbx) . flown in FSX and P3DV5 as well but not extensively

Roland has done a great job converting this beautiful model and I hope and am optimistic with all the skill and talent here others will help with this project.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

    Hi

Lonely update, as so far nobody ( apart test flying ) volunteered to help

I am now working in VC and programmed the Altimeter,AoA, Eng N1+N2,VSI and used Fraser McKay's ( which I cannot get in touch on permission) certain gauges

On N1+N2 I could not yet the drums working so for now Digital

ANY XML help would be highly appreciated

Next week or so I can share the updated version to people which want to help

Then it will take longer as I do interior model again, as there is still flicker, some gauge area dont show fully ( like annunciator in below picture ) and many more

Drop a note here or PM me

    Best regards

    Roland

    Possible gauge flicker fix.

    Hi,
sorry I can't help you with the gauge xml (I get lost with anything more complicated than really basic xml) but may have a solution for the flicker.

Texture flickering is usually caused by 2 textures in the same plane (geometrically speaking).
Try setting the Z-bias on the VC texture to a negative value (try -5) and see if that helps.

I'm really looking forward to the release of this Jetstar.

I'm sorry that I don't have the skills required to help with the panel.

My only ability is to copy and paste various gauge mods for my own use.

I wish you all the best with this project.

    Pete.
