Was in Branson Mo 4/7 May 2017.
Had a great time. Went to a put-put course and saw this airplane on top of a rock pile and just had to take some pics of it. I think it's an loadstar not sure.
Looks like something from Indiana Jones.

Hey Gray Eagle....
Did a little searching. From what I found, the consensus it is a PV-2 Harpoon? NC

Regrettably, no... look at the rear fuselage(s) and you can clearly see the differences.
The pics NC posted are of the former display at Prof. Hacker's (indeed a PV-2) which was destroyed by a tornado that went through Branson in Feb, 2012. It's covered in a 6-page thread on WIX http://www.warbirdinformationexchang...hp?f=3&t=48785
It was apparently replaced prior to Aug. 2016 by a Lodestar (actually a C-60A) identified as N810G (see end of the WIX thread) which was once stored at Ocotillo Wells, CA

The only black and yellow paint I could find that sorta resembles the one in the picture is this one:
Looking for one that looks more like the one in the picture taken at Branson.
From what I can tell the ID number of the loadstar on display is N810G.
