Any chance of doing some skins for the Simshed Tucano? I'd like that very much!

Will it be compatible with FSX/P3D

    Hi Sasha,
Thanks for these kind words, yes the PC-21 was neglected at the time. The model is still looking good with refreshed textures.
Simshed did the Tucano T1, Short manufactured Tucano with a more powerful Garett engine RAF beeing the main user with a few exports, plenty of RAF liveries were done at UKMIL and others. I doubt I could bring up something better. What liveries would you like to see ?

I think so, as i didn't use alpha chanel. However, the texture will be still 1024x1024, a poor resolution considering FsX 4096x4096 capabilities.

What I would really like is a Shark Mouth skin to go on the Simshed model, even if that is a different type Tucano and they would be fictious. Like this Indonesian or Afghan ones:

Or even better the classic Brazilian ones:

Maybe the Embraer 314 from JE Narcizo would be more accurate, as these are super tucano. I might paint this one in Afghan and Indonesian livery in the future, mainly because the mapping is painter friendly and would not take too much time to build a basic paintkit. However, Piglet's Embraer 314 for FsX is definitely better both external model and VC and has been widely repainted.

You are right of course, but I don't use FSX and the Simshed model has the better VC for FS9. I have all the UKMil repaints, too!

Awesome! I'll dig out the PC-21, it's around somewhere in the barn, just have to remove the hay and shoo away the chicken!

Many thanks for these new repaints! They are looking great.

What did you tweak on the model if I may ask?

I added a slight speculiar shine, as Piglet didn't set any on his original mdl. I also adjusted the canopy and propeller disk transparency as it was a bit opaque in my opinion.
I'm really pleased you like the liveries

This is the modified cockpit that I made for my personal use:

I will probably add this Superhornet MFD/HSI.

All bits and pieces are collected together from other freeware aircraft.

The side panels are from the Pilatus PC7 Astra MKII by Thinus Prestius (available at flightsim.com).
The PFD is included in citationx.cab.
However at the moment I do not know which aircraft this gauge came with.
The small attitude indicator is from the default FS9 King Air 350

    By the way:

I abused Piglet's PC-21 as PZL 130 Orlik some time ago.

That Roulettes scheme on the PC-21 ROCKS, L'iguane! I thought the Roulettes flew PC-9's but maybe they should consider the PC-21, if they haven't already! Nice work!!

Hi Blackbird. Actually the RAAF selected the PC-21 to replace their PC-9 and deliveries started already. This Roulette scheme is accurate, only the serial is fictious. (This photo beeing shot at Pilatus factory) it also helped me a lot for painting this livery.

A very WIP preview, intermitently working on Piglet T-28B.
Definitely not a turboprop but still an efficient COIN aircraft.

Planning to cover foreign Trojan & Fennec users, French Air Force EALA in Algeria and maybe a few others
