    Excellent paints L'iguane!

A "what-if" Ukrainian AF low vis model... Dark grey and black roundels on the wings, dark grey with light grey "bird" insignia on the tail, and dark grey "squadron number" on the fuselage beneath the cockpit. That would look sharp, IMO.

    Hello Blackbird,

I couldn't locate Ukrainian low vis roundel & marking, will see if I can dig some on the internet.
But this one may fit your needs for a low vis scheme !

    Fictious refurbished Czech AF L-29

    Will be be available soon

    Vvs l-29-600

What if Russian developped L-29-600 upgrade program, featuring a zero timed airframe, up to date GLONASS navigation & avionics, COIN/CAS capability, here shown as a demonstrator with VVS markings.

I have been working on further refinements on the L-29,

-Refined flight dynamics, now behaves closer of reality and can be flown by the numbers
-All new 32 bit paintkit/layering, so it is a bit less blurry and more accurate than my previous version.
-3D cockpit layout, with accurate gauges

I'm planning one or two livery as this is going to focus on VC and dynamics.

I always loved that plane. Great work so far. Can't wait!!!

Progressing on the livery. I worked on 2048x2048 with mip active, so it might work & display much better in FSX.

    Thank you !

the first livery being completed, represents an airframe belonging to ukrainian Korotich Aeroclub ca 2010.
I'm moving on airfile & custom sound closer to real L-29.
This jet sounds loud at high rpm and whistles at idle, according to videos available.
It is also seriously underpowered, this will feel on take off performances and will cruise at approx 250-270 kts around 90/95% of N1.
It has a lot of inertia and will quickly speed up in a dive, with acceleration decreasing around 400 kts as it is straight winged with a thick airfoil.

    Cheers
    L'iguane
