C-47 V3 Repaints - Miss Virginia, Just Plane Exhausted......

    Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get these repaints, along with some others by the same repainter as seen in this Flickr album:

I have come across several forum posts regarding these paints from around August 2016, and a mediafire link is supplied, but it is no longer valid.

As far as I can tell the author is Alan W - aka deepdiver8055 on Flightsim.com, EightyFiftyFive at A2A.

    Cheers,

The author of the repaint is the same person who repainted the Virtavia B29 "The Doc" which has disappeared. He dose not seem to upload his work to the main sites which is a pity because he is very talented when you look at his repaint of the A2A North American T-6 Texan N9523C his polished metal work is fantastic.

The link to just plane exhausted in now invalid or file removed.

Googled a lot of sites where is was offered but those links state that the file was removed.

The author of the liveries is Alan W. 8055. He was banned from SOH a few years ago, while trying to contribute. Otherwise we might all have free access to his work here in the library.

Meanwhile, if you need his contact info. PM me.

    Yes, Hangdog.

He's ventured into a top secret project. But We still fly regularly at DTP.

I thought 'Miss Virginia' sounded familiar so I've just looked in my v3 folder and there it is. I'm sure it came from here too. Not sure if it's a different one to the one you want but I can send you a copy.

    EDIT: This one..

    EDIT#2 PM sent Scott.

Thanks for the info and the offer Joseph. I did send a PM at Flightsim.com, but have received no reply as yet. It seems he hasn't been active there or at A2A for a few months. I would rather not keep hassling him over his repaints so don't worry about the contact info. If you do happen to speak to him maybe just mention that there are some people looking for his repaints (I'm sure I'm not the only one), but we can leave it at that.

    Cheers,

That's the one Dave, the one that blinds you when you look at it.

    Thanks!

Does anyone still have this repaint (Miss Virginia) lying around in a folder somewhere, the link to download that I've seen on other sites no longer works.

    Thanks
    Jamie
