    Vertigo Studios F6F Landing Gear

    Hi Flyers,

i just got the Vertigo Studios F6F Hellcat and am trying to use it in P3D, it flys ok but the landing gear won't retract. Any idea's as to how to fix this.

And if your tempted to say 'Oh that's an FSX model and its not compatible, you should not try that', Let me say 'bit me' now, very few FSX aircraft won't work in P3d.

Had the same problem as well as being unable to jettison the loadouts, binned it!
Not a great port from FS9 at all.

The gear is not designed to operate above Vlo (approx 127 mph). Try retracting and extending it below this speed. It works perfectly in my P3d v3.4.

That was it! The limit was set at 111. 5 in the aircraft.cfg file. I have never seen where the limit prevented retraction but go figure. That number is really low, especially for an AC that gains speed as quickly as the F6F, think I will bump that number up a bit. And I even figured out how to drop the bomb and fire the rockets. Amazing what you learn when you read the documentation.

    Thanks for the help.

    I'm glad it wasn't a bug

Is Vertigo Studios still offline ? I have their Hellcat and Bearcat, but I can't retrieve the activation codes from them any more.
