painting

hey all,id like to try a personal paint ,but i prefer carenado or alebo planes..i have Jasc paint shop pro 8,ive finally got the layers idea somewhat down..ha...but will i have to use the dtxbmp program still?...thanks

Good luck with the Carenado and Alabeo aircraft. They provide a white plane to use as a template but as most painters will tell you it is a real b***h to paint.

If PSP can't handle dds, you'll need dxtbmp to convert the texture maps back and forth.

I use Photoshop, so that's not an issue there with the nvidia plugin.
