Update Douglas_C-47_Beta_V3.14 feedback and support topic

Hello,

I am not convinced that you are seeing the files I have attached.
The seats in your last three shots seem to have the faded blue seat belts
that Manfred gave us.

The image of the black seat and black seat belts above is from the files
I attached earlier and I see no blue.
However, I have removed the blue from the vvc_2bump_spec.dds
file as well in the hope that this will make the seat belts look black
on your screen too.

Thank-you for the latest files. I substituted these for the previous 2 files you provided and took before and after shots. As you can see below, the new files show no blue in the seatbelts but give them a really nice dark, grey appearance.

I also added/swapped out the 'vvc_2bump_spec.dds' which Nick had modified in post #76 (above) to the main C-47 V3.14 texture folder to make the 'blue tinge' vanish from the seatbelts in the default brown VC.

Here is one 'before', and two 'after' shots :



No more 'blues'. Thank-you, Nick.

First off I want say this aircraft is incredible. Thank you to all involved for your hard work, time and efforts. It proudly shows in the product.

I've been looking through the forum and haven't seen any question (thus far) in regards to the models being different from previous versions. In particular regards to the beacon light on the tail. All the paints show a beacon on the tail fin in their thumbnails but I'm not seeing it on the aircraft. Almost all the aircraft are using the line "model= blank" in the .cfg file. When I select the beacon switch to "on" in the VC, I have no beacon on the exterior. It does seem to appear that there is one on the belly around the back offset to one side but it doesn't come on either. Navigation lights work as usual with no issues. Is there a different model I should be setting the various repaints to call up to get the tail beacon back? Thanks for any and all help.

I think I have screwed up my installation while trying to install updates. Is there a single file available that will install the plane with all of the updates? This would certainly help me get back on track.

If I delete the existing C47 file. Then install the C47 V3.12 beta and then the latest .14 file will that be a correct installation?
