CFS3 ETO 1.5 issues

Okay here tis. Running CFS3 ETO 1.5, Air craft keeps blowing up in the presentation screen. F7 it and i,m dead again before ive even started a mission! Is there a fix? And what am I doing wrong!!! Also a voice says "i,m taking damage". Sure ive messed up somewhere. What,s the point of selecting theaters before starting the game in the command prompt when you can do it in the game when you create a new character? Any help would be gratefully received. Find ETO in your app data folder and delete the usiel.xml file. A new one will be generated when you start the game again. That usually does it.
