It's been a couple of days and the baton has not moved!

At this stage I think it's pointless trying to cover all the continents given where the baton is now so why not just try to get it back to the start however we can. Likewise, there's not much point in running full leg lengths where you are just sitting around twiddling your thumbs until it is time to descend. It's far better to practice getting airborne, up to critical altitude (or cruise altitude for jets) and then the descent and landing. Baton posts and Duenna postings need practice too of course.

With all that said let's see if I can remember how to do this after being AWOL from the race for two years!

I have the baton, RJNH - RJSM in a JF L1011 using default FSX real WX.

    Baton free at RJSM.

Boy it's windy over Japan today! I had to deal with a 116 kt cross-wind for most of the way!

Have the baton from RJSM to RJCN in the RR FSX whitelisted De Havilland Hornet with default real weather.

  4. #104
Baton is free at RJCN. It was either RJCN or UHPP which was over 1000nm from where Larry stopped.

Yeah I messed up, I wasn't thinking about where the next pilot could get to.

OK let's see if I can fix this!

I have the baton RJCN - PASY on a wildcard jet leg using the FSND Citation X in default FSX WX.

That should make the next legs more reasonable as we hop up the Aleutian chain.

GPS says 10 minutes out. Wind shifted enroute so I'm gonna be about 10 minutes overtime with landing.

Baton is free at CYZP. Just 21lbs of fuel left in the tanks, so I'm glad I didn't need to go around.

Baton is free at CYHD. Uneventful flight, apart from the 11 seconds of overspeed, which got my attention.
