Any word from the Grizz?

Hey guys,

While I don't fly CFS3 much, I am becoming increasingly concerned about Grizzly50's absence, which has been almost two weeks. We speak on Skype several times a week on average, and he has become one of my best friends. We share similar physical afflictions, and weird, offbeat senses of humor. We've made jokes that the two of us have to be related somehow, even not by blood.

I wasn't aware of any family time or upcoming travel he had planned, but I did know he's been battling some physical issues lately. I have his cell number and called him, and it was active, but it just went to voicemail.

Has anyone else been in contact?

He was part of the emails for the last round of testing on the P-61, but I've not seen a response. I didn't think much of it over the holidays, but your end of things does seem a bit more troubling.

I noticed his absence as well, but hoped it was just due to the holidays.

Also MIA is Lewis11777 and JayCee. I PM'ed them both about two months ago, but got no reply. Very concerned.

I just called him again, no answer, but his voice mail is still up. I also have his work addy, so if we don't hear from him by New Year's, I will fire off a letter to him.

This is the text of a letter that is going out this morning...

To Kasey or whomever reads this,

My name is Andrew Talbot. I am a friend of Kasey's and am writing this because I have not had any contact with him since December 17^th,2016. Having grown to know him pretty well by speaking with him several times a week, it is far out of character for him to simply cut himself off contact abruptly. He shares a hobby with members of a website I am part of, and we often speak several times a week via social networking. I am in part writing this on their behalf, and also because of my personal concern.

I'm aware that there was a severe snowstorm that occurred about the time that contact with him abruptly ended, so I speculate that he may be isolated from communicating. I know he is diabetic, & we share a physical condition I know from personal experience requires careful management. If someone can independently verify that he is alive and well, it would be much appreciated.

Hi Andrew,

I've tried to contact him with no luck over the last week. I was talking to him around the 22nd of Dec. I'm hoping its a communication issue and not something worse. we usually speak on Skype 2 or 3 times a week.

I sent him a note on Facebook for his birthday - no reply from him or anyone else, and no activity on the account. Admittedly, he doesn't use it much, but still...

Unfortunately, I have not heard anything from him, or from anyone in his office, despite having sent a letter. I tried to call him just now, since I still have his phone number, and got no answer. At this point, I have to come to the conclusion that something may have happened to him. I hope not, because I will have lost a very good friend, as many of you have as well.

Been a member since the early days and was known simply as sixstrings so i've known Grizz for a while too. It would be a great loss if anything bad has happened . Will hope for the best and keep him in my prayers. Kind of fell out of touch for a while but still a great guy.

I already mailed a letter to his work address, and I have his cell phone. That's all he was willing to give me. I've also emailed him...no response on any front.

Kasey is in rehab for some health issues and had a lot of family stuff hit him in a short period of time. I do have his contact number, and he did say it was okay to call him. I will not post the number publicly, but if anyone wants it, please send me a PM and I will provide it.
