    Quickie Airport Scenery

With help from Bill (WND) I put together an airport on the eastern most end of Long Island. . .Montauk Airport. It's a combination of default objects, some custom objects done for other airports that worked for this one as well and a photoreal ground texture with seasonal autogen. Right now it's lacking additional seasonal ground textures (Fall, Winter, Hard Winter) and I'm not sure I'll even bother with those (I fly almost exclusively Spring and Summer). . .although it does have a night texture.

If anyone is interested I'll upload when it's ready.

Another masterpiece coming from the Falcon nest. Would love to add this to my P3D.

Seconded (or fourthed), I'd be delighted to add this to your Maine and NH airports.

The screens were shot with FTX Basic and Vector Basic installed.

Looks superb Ed. I fly in there (and Fishers Island, East Hampton as well as your Block Island) a lot so would be great to have this.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Thank you very much Falcon, I appreciate your sharing of your work. Montauk was very much a needed scenery redo and is an excellent addition to the list of Long Island and New York airports...thank you again.

Both Montauk and Block Island V2 have been uploaded to the SOH Library so they may be available later today.

    Great work, as usual, Ed.

Your contributions brought me back to enjoying "low&slow" flying.

I dont fly that area so I´m not going to download,
BUT its really great to see your lovely airport. I can feel that you really enjoy making scenery and it brings back some fond memories from the fs2002/2004 days.
    keep up the good spirit.
