    Global freeware mesh

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for freeware global mesh for FS2004, especially for my home town, Cape Town, as our Table Mountain is looking very flat.
    Any ideas?

I'm also using Howard's 'The Natural World' textures, in a separate FS install using scenery & add-ons from 'The Ford Tri-Motor Project'.

    Kind Regards,
    Robin

There you go, both fs9 and FSX meshes available; (FSX mesh works in FS9 btw)

Raimondo Taburet made his former payware FS9 mesh available. Massive downloads to get the entire world, but well worth it if you can find it.

Thanks, Pete. I do have all the Aeroworx stuff, in FS9 as well as P3D.
In my addition FS9 install, using Ford tri-Motor scenery pretty much exclusivly, I somehow got coastal issues & mountains with the Ford's Cape Town scenery.
I'm also going to try some of Simviation's mesh as well, just to see.

    Cheers,
    Robin

    Hey Willy

The whole world mesh is available here in practical small files, so you can customize. Download the map first to see which region(s) you want.

Sorry to say that, but Stephen Rothlisberger's SRTM files generates tremendous cliffs.
