    ok guys, a new version 1.0 of the german atomic bomber is here for download:
    http://simhangar.nolimit.cz/main/gam...orten-h-xviiib

    changes from previous 0.9 version:
    * virtual cockpit with working gauges (F4 key), bomber crew (F6 key, F8 key) and day/night Lufftwaffe bombsight (F7 key)
    * airplane model with specular map and bump maps
    * movable wing parts
    * four engined jet soundset

    when no bugs, I would upload it into the CFS3 Warbird section... lets test it a few days first.

    Sweet images, thank you

    The actual Horten flight model is highly incorrect and assuming the germans meant it will be almost unhitable by enemy flak... doe the high altitude and so?

    Excellent model Borek, who'd have thought we would see this in CFS3

    Yea FM needs sorting, I'm sure someone will take it on in time?
    I've darkened the s.dds texture, as personally, I thought it was a little too shiny. I will email you the texture so you can see for yourself!

    Could do with a few more of the less busy people having a look at this, you don't know what your missing, I'm sure Borek would appreciate the feedback too?

    thanks, mate

    well, producing stuff add-ons for CFS3, present day, is a... errr... basically a waste of time, so to speak, really for a small group of people.

    well, my CFS3 stuff Luft46 themed project threads getting pretty lot of visits, still the thread posting is aprox a five man show usually. a less rather
    if you look the whole Horten thread, which is now over 19 thousands views, since november 2016 v.09a add-on pack public release (196 downloads) nobody bothered with the better flight model, also you may check, how many said / wrote just "thanks" at least... I highly doubt the current release will change it somehow, I am ice cold

    I am pretty sure if such stuff would be designed for FSX, Prepar 3D or for Sturmovik series, it would get more attention. it also depends which site to publish it... however I still like CFS3. its a combat sim with easy moddable game content which I know, even with MS official support these glory days, I mean CFS3 SDK documents and samples. I also love gMax and I hate the 3DS Max monster.

    See that often here a SOH. Lots of views but not many posts. It's a common thing. And now that OZx site is down that will hurt us even more since it looks like nothing is going to be done about it. Some people just don't like to post and i find it to be true at other combat flight sim sites for whatever reason. Your work IS great and most appreciated and i do thank you for all the time and effort put in to these fine aircraft. Regards,Scott

    Hope you get some help. Wish i could. Something i need to learn,i guess,as it sounds interesting.

    thank you, Scott.

    its a bit shame the actual flight model (MiG-15 in base, LOL), since 2016 release keeps cool the simmers. yet, a new Horten nuke bomber flying wing version is in plan, with Bravo/4 template based skins (already made) and the animated bombsight.

    It is a shame no farther work has been done with updating the flight modelling. So few people post and give feedback or thanks ,it disheartens modders and we loose some talented people. This is a great example. How hard is a simple thank you ? Regards,Scott
