Smile Anyone still flying this old lady?

The Virtavia B-24 is my favorite plane, and one of my favorites to paint. I have started tinkering again with her. Here is my attempt to dirty her up compared to my older paints that I have done. No time frame on uploading, I still have more tinkering to do, and I leave this weekend for 5 weeks of training. As usual, I don't take the best pictures.

    Rob,

Look forward to seeing your 'down and dirty' skins for this great old gal.

The Lib has always been my favourite WWII strategic bomber. If 'Bomber' Harris had released all of the early Libs procured under 'Lend-Lease' straight to the RAF's Coastal Command, the Atlantic Air cover Gap could have been closed almost 18 months before it was. with the saving of thousands of tons of shipping and lives.

Thanks for your previous much appreciated skins of this a/c.

I use Glenn Duncan's beautiful C-87 and his panel. A wonderful beast.
    thank you Glenn!

Hello Rob.... I still am a Big Fan of the Virtavia B-24. Last time we talked I had asked if you had gotten the latest version of it with the C-87 and the LB-30? There are endless stories that can be told with repaints for the "Lib." The Early one's in particular... the Ploesti Raider airplanes like your Amazing "Rowdy Ann" all have stories that leave you shaking your head. Very happy to hear that you are revisiting the Liberator! Can't wait to download anything you decide to do...

Superb paints Rob. I still fly the B-24 in WWII Australian Air Force livery, as well as the paints that came with the model. Until now... the vintage bomber has never left Australia in my sim..

    Thanks everyone!

MustangL2W, I never did get the C-87 update. When I got mine, it was still under the Alphasim name, which is old enough that I can't remember where I purchased it from. I have no clue where the receipt is either. I've been waiting for a good sale to get a newer updated version. Maybe this Christmas there will be a good sale.

    Looking good Rob.

I might re-install her and take her for a flight.
