    Uncle,
i need an advice: in a texture how to eliminate the line along the spine? is there any trick about that?
    Thanks in advance,

    Gius,

I agree with all previous comments; I love the weather-beaten, war-weary look!

    Gius,

I've only just taken the time to look at Allen's Lanc Mk1 in MCX. I can't see any obvious line running down the spine of the aircraft with Allen's base paint. Perhaps you introduced a sharp edge when you were applying wear & tear? If so, then I'm afraid it's blend & smudge until it's less obvious (only helpful if you're using a separate paint layer I know).
Quite often I avoid anything other than the faintest dust/dirt at the edges of bitmaps because of this type of issue - you can lose hours of trial & error otherwise.

Any chance you could post a pic of the problem area? The screengrab doesn't really show anything obvious to me.

    Uncle,
a BIG thank for the kind reply, your advice is very useful for me... do you believe that blurring in a certain selected area do the same??
i'll post you a screen capture until an hour!
    Sorry for my bad english...

This could be my falt (or Alphasim as I'm not sure). Looking at models in Model Converter X works really well but it dosen't use the same light settings as CFS2.

In gMax the left and right side are not welded togather. In CFS2 the left and right fuse are not shaded/lighted as 1 object but are shaded/lighted as 2 objects.

You can see this clearly on the PZ1 Phantasm I building now. The fuse has been welded down the center but I can't weld the gear doors to togather because the open from the center.

Below is new model for the Lancaster B Mk.I. Give it a try and let me know if that fixes the bug.

    Tried the welded model,
but although it brings some improvements, i've realized it's mainly a texture's issue,
it appears that issue is related to weathering layers, so i'm editing them...
    Thanks equally Allen and regards,
    Giuseppe
