zsolt,
Can your repaints be downloaded from anywhere?

Yes Dave, you are right! But just to clarify, these are no repaints from me! They can be downloaded in the A2A forum und in the Flightsim Forum.
Cheers, Thilo
I spent the last hour or so, loving a challenge at Joe Baugher's complete serial number site searching for possible combinations of the serial XXX790 and even went on the internet to the 179th Air Mobility Wing Site (OHIO ANG) to see if there might be something there. They make one reference to having one Douglas C-47 in Midlands so this must be it. Probably flew it home after the war. Serial number wise, here is the link to:where he lists 42-92790 as a Douglas C47A-DK Skytrain and no other information. If you want to use that serial number on the tail you probably could in my opinion rather than leave it blank, your choice. Otherwise, I tried every other combination in his search engine and except for 44-76790 which was lend-leased to USSR, there aren't any C47's I found with XX-XX790 serial numbers from 41-45.HTML Code:http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/1942_5.html
I finished the olive drab series. Tomorrow I will upload all skins.
Btw.Something new on my desktop. Any idea what will it be? ; )

What scenery is that, Dave?
I uploaded another of my skins, tuned up for the V3 model. This one is DXT5, rather than 32 bit which has been received with mixed reviews.

To the C-47 V3 team
At last, I am back home and could fly this great C-47.
Congratulations.
I don't find the words to express my great admiration.
The "audible checklist" is a brillant idea - very immersive.
It was worth the (long...) wait
Gérard
DaveB how did you transfer the shiny engine cowls to Ron's Atlantique ,as I would like to do that as well.
Cheers Chris
Hello Zsolt,
Thanks for all of your great paints and FS work!
According to Warbird Information Exchange (http://www.warbirdinformationexchang...ic.php?t=26970) and Joe Baugher's website (http://www.joebaugher.com/), it is 42-93790, which is now on display at Ft Benning. GA in WWII colors.
"May 1960 found the C-47A with the 112th Tactical Fighter Squadron (ANG), in Toledo, Ohio. The 112th at this time were operating the F-84 Thunderjet and in 1960 the 112th merged with the 180th Tactical Fighter Group, flying the F-84 Thunderjet F-84F Thunderstreak and into 1971. 790 may have been used as a Support/Admin Aircraft."
"42-93790 (MSN 13741) seen in 2007 on display at Ft Benning, GA, having been displayed there since at least Mar 1970."
It would be a good subject for a lifespan set of liveries, showing various operators. There are pictures of the Alaska paint job also.
One point of note, as the Ohio ANG aircraft, the tail number was probably marked as 0-93790, like here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/billywilt/13907390913.
Thanks again for your paints!
