Where Have All The C-47 Skins Gone?

Yes, I've tried to search with the available means on this site, which with all due respect are the most confusing of any I've seen.
There once was an active thread during the development of the C-47 with up to 40 or 50 pages where many repaints and requests were posted. I'm not able to find it and I only found one repaint by GMan while doing a normal file search. I'm well aware of the Vintage VC thread, that's not what I'm referring to.
If anyone could direct me to a repository of MJ's C-47 skins I would be forever grateful!

Another less than useful tip, there are many repaints for MJs C-47 on the OzX site, but it is currently down due to server problems/maintenance.


I found a few more using just the keyword filter and trying a few different words like mj, c-47, jahn, manfred etc. Also I tried the advanced search function using the words Douglas C-47 (looking in title and description) and searching the FSX addons and child categories. There are some other paints to sort through but there should be some more C-47 paints.

If it's the C-47 created by Manfred Jahn & Friends, try searching here for, "Jahn" , select "FSX Addons" in the search catagory, and see what comes up for you. I tried it, and recieved ten pages of stuff, mostly C-47 paints.

In the Warbird library type in C-47 in the search box, then Search Categories click on FSX Skins, then click search. Four pages of nothing but 64 DC3/C-47 repaints.

There are quite a number of C-47 repaints for the Manfred Jahn model on the OZX site as well (and as suggested, search for "Jahn").

Actually it was your repaints I was particularily interested in and yesterday the OZX site had errors as well. I just tried now and it seems ok again. Thanks

A search for Jahn Douglas Lechner at flightsim brings up quite a few too.

. . . but not the Cuban one I'm sure I saw posted a while back but can not find anywhere (?)

I looked for a Finnish skin for Manfred's DC-3/C-47. Straight search through Google by keywords: C-47 "Manfred Jahn" skins returned this page (among others):
