Using OneDrive and GoogleDrive without issues, so if the former won't work, try the latter.

DropBox used to be nice but now they're nothing but annoying.

    Well G,

While your waiting fans (throwing bottles at the screen) are anticipating the kitty, maybe you can sing a little rawhide while we wait.

It's uploading on the other server, so...filling in the time...

I was never a front man, and didn't have the pipes for leads.

I did cut my chops on the Hammond B3 though. Started at age 7...still play. That's "Rusty" Cloud on the ivory behind Jake and Elwood.
Don't have the B-3 any more, but retain a Yamaha Motif 8 with natural action. Still manage some pretty mean rips now and then.

Anyone has an old Hammond laying around...with a working Leslie...let me know!!!

I know Booker T has one.

I love this tune "Time is tight"; the drummer has an excellent back beat that denotes the Memphis sound.
Is this the organ you had or have or looking for?

Couple of those dude are gone. The original drummer is gone for sure. He could really bang those drums. I think he actually busted some sticks during a show.

That organ sound gives me goose bumps......

That's the one. Booker T, Brian Auger, Lee Michaels...all those guys were influences.
Booker really knew how to work the Leslie. Lee Michaels kept a Kreuger Bass on his rig. Carried the base lines with his left hand.
    Brian Auger....really stretched the envelope.

    BTW
Looks like about 40% progress on the second upload attempt.

Wow, well I guess you will farm it out to those that are interested when
the U/L is completed. It's 19:30 here central time so most likely I might
see it tomorrow then. Sounds like the U/L server is gonna work this time.

In the mean time, thanks for the music. I've been enjoying it.

Have a Hammond M-100, but no Leslie. Was my late husbands, he was the organist, and the base guitar. I'm rhythm or lead guitar and harmonica.

It is a small world isn't it Sue?

    Gotta be a B-3.

They did make the X-66 which was a super tricked out monster B-3 on steroids...chrome legs and all the bling. My dad got one of those later on.
He actually had a B-3 for a few years before he died, but his second family kept it.

My husband had an M-100 in college. His band actually carried it around to gigs. His mother donated it to the church after his divorce from the first wife, with out asking him. He always talked about it, so I found him another one on E-Bay. Cost as much to ship as it did for the organ itself. It was worth it.
    LOL

Loved the Lee Michaels ! Thanks

That's a great story. Bet he cried when he walked in and saw it.

It's a love affair. The weight and feel of the keys...grabbing handfuls of drawbars. Working the Leslie
Starting it was not just a flip of the switch...it had to be spooled up like starting a radial.

Yeah, the M-100 is an oil pumper too. Start the pump, as I remember; wait one full minute, then turn the organ on ? Have to get out the service manual to remember where to put the oil...
    LOL

A Leslie speaker with a transparent case
BTW: I have all the tubes you see on the bottom rack. My Dad was into aviation avionics/electronics and TV repair when he retired.
I inherited all his vast selection of electron tubes (he had them in a big folding hard case like TV repairman used in the day) and the tube checker he built.

If memory serves me, didn't that band leader (Paul Shaffer) play a Hammond on the David Letterman show- I remember the organ intro
he played when the show started. Good Stuff.

Oh no,,,, I didn't get mine yet. Thought it would be a one time blanket email to all that were interested.

    Checked my spam/trash box... nada.

D/L now. MegaSynch? I am using my browser but I guess I'll find out where the files are.

Sorry about the MEGA.nz link...this was an alternate after One Drive rejected the files.

I'm trying One Drive again now, but will be a while.

In the mean time, I'll be monitoring this page to field your questions.

The POH can be found here. The handbook is comprehensive and an excellent instructional reference.
