Alain Prost compared it to a truck and it cost him his job, but I had a blast driving his 643:

Shame it never went as well as it looked Ferry!
Could have been worse, if Prost had retained his position he would have found himself driving the appalling F92A!

And a thought on AC, for what ever reason, they do make it difficult to get any support.
The number of hoops one must jump through to get to the right people on their 'Official' forum is a but much, or maybe that's just me.

I've finally got everything sorted except for the final tidying up on my new system, loaded up AC and have become really frustrated at the lack of decent skins for the GT40.
I've looked at several sites including that extremely annoying Facebook one (Bloody 'Deposit-files'!!) and the GT40 is subject some really ugly paints or some just plain boring ones.
    Any ideas please Team?

Sorry Wombat, I don't have any repaints for the GT40 installed.

Magnificent beasts and where to drive them:

    935/78 at Spa:

    962 at Vallelunga:

    Thanks Ferry, I'll keep looking.
At least most of the 962 models have plenty of skins, even if a lot of them are 956 models IRL.
Be nice if someone could come up the BBS 'basket weave' rims, the factory cars look good with their Speediness but some of the privateers look a bit naff.
Hope the coming year is going to be less stressful for you two, auto-immune illness's are so very difficult to live with.

wombat, there is a Gt40 on this site for free download, that has a few racing schemes in it. One is the #6 from the '66 Lemans race, the Gulf one. It has a few more racing skins, just not familiar with them though. Worth a look I suppose, not may repaints for it that I could find. If you want to paint it yourself, (just the body) it comes with its own PSD file included. Just scroll down until you see it.

You download it from Mega files, not that ignorant Deposit files, hate that place! Only a 22 MB download.

    Thanks Noddy.
Really strange that a car that was raced by so many privateers is so light on for repaints.
However, I might have to try and roll my own, an incentive to dust off my mediocre painting skills.

PS: Collecting my Corsair sleeved cables tomorrow so the final part of my new box will be complete!
Really looking forward to a few lost days in assorted sims.
