Wonderful job Cees! Is there a change to do interim test work? Kinda payback for your T.5 and D.21 testings. Besides that, I have some thoughts with respect to the passing away of Tracker at the Nederlandse Luchtvaart forum (http://www.nederlandseluchtvaart.nl/...?40127-Tracker)

Sad news Daan! I hardly visit the forum these days.... As soon as I have a reasonable beta version, you're da man, Marcel also! But there is stil a long way to go! There is so much detail! I must check out the version Marcel did for fs2004!
Here's some shots from work of the last few days: a balcony , the chimney, the 'seinra'
    and the radar tower.

As you might know, i've done the Karel for FS2004. If you like i can round up all the pictures i got. Also got several books on it.

Also did some research on the platform lights on the deck.

Also if you a beta-tester just let me know.

    Regards,

    Marcel.
Thanks for the compliment Marcel! No one better qualified for beta testing than someone who already has done another version! Thanks for the pictures! I got several of them already, but there were quit a few that are new to me. And now I'm of to take a look at your version of the 'Dikke Boot'.

Due to the Alpha textures from FS2004 don't work in FSX, it sadly does not look that good. Made also some working marshallers and catapult officers on deck. Don't know if this even possible in FSX (or how).

Back then (man it's 8 years ago i release it... time flies) i've made to promo for the boot, still can be watched at:

Maybe you can do some beta-testing then, when I get the first beta out? You can compare it to a 3d model!

That would be great Cees! I will await your message when you get the first beta out.

A couple of pages back in this thread I saw that you had a couple of detailed lay-outs of the Karel Doorman. Can you tell me where you got those? They could come in handy while I am realising the scale model

    Cheers,
    Randy

    Randy,

Don't expect too much from these drawings. These are more sketches, as in most cases the scale of the different views is not correct.

Well, the manual that came with the model isn't really clear in a lot of places, so any other documents are welcome...

    Randy,

Can you give me an idea what the back of the Island (the top) looks like? I can reconstruct a lot, but some part remain obscure to me.

    Cees,

I am out of the country at the moment for a Business trip, so it won't be untill friday evening or saturday that i will have access to my scale model again.
The island isn't painted yet but I will send you some pics this coming weekend!

    Randy

P.S. Maybe a good idea to open a different thread for the Karel Doorman AI ship. The last couple of pages of this thread haven't really been about the Sea Hawk

    Cees,

Although most likely not exactly what you have been looking for, but you can see the back side of the tower several times in these movies and they are quite entertaining
