    Ahhh, Thank YOU, Skipper. :-)

Question is: will I find the polys needed for teh gunner/observer...

or will this turn into yet another poly-witch hunt???

Really incredible Nigel! The model is breathtaking and the textures are absolutely gorgeous .

Why do images like this always make me a bit greedy?

But take the time needed Nigel. Even if the model is half as good as it looks, it is still worth the wait.

    Thanks for the update,
    Huub

These old bi-planes somehow are the most beautiful aircraft for me! THIS model is shaping up to be an all-time FS great, there is just so much love and attention to detail ... and patience!

The bare metal finish on the cowling and forward fuselage is beautiful.

Thanks Sascha66, I agree they are beautiful subjects, and in this case great flyers too.

    Happy booleans...

Love boolean cuts - particularly when they go smoothly first run. :-)

Now that the hole is dug...

Better get on with the other windscreen variant.

    Hi Nigel.
    My usual request.

Any further progress on the launch and the harbour as well as your superb aircraft.

I trust your power problems are all sorted.

    Cheers Chris

    Hey up Nigel.
I refuse too drool over such things, so far this thread has cost me three keyboards. Your bare metal textures have just blown my last few remaining brain cells.
Carry on like this and you will find yourself charged with Cruelty too dumb Stalin's, and keyboards.

Many thanks for the interest, friends - AVRO fleet of aircraft nearing the finishing Line. Busy here converting base models/textures to FSX native. :-)

As for the scenery; not much progress in that department, I'm afraid. Each time I go there, it turns into an exercise in frustration. Just have to see how it all plays out - dang near burned myself out on that one...

And I can recall seeing the NZ example flying (before the engine cried "no more" and she was grounded.....)
