I have no proof of its type number but it is from my fathers few photos & internet searching showed it as a Farman F40 or a F44. Where & When comes from my previous Bleriot crash so Brooklands 1936....

This is a photo taken by my father - I only had the negative, now with the Brooklands Museum - but yes you are correct except I would say it was restored after that crash - Wiki says it took 2 years ...

The photo is not as old as the aircraft that's one reason why it is coloured. The hangars in the background are Old Warden & the aircraft is a 1910 Deperdussin.

Shessi, any chance the wing leading edges can be blended - they look too sharp & difference in underside colour exaggerates it too. I do though...

Nice find & just giving her a quick flip in FS9 she handles much as described in the real aircraft flight report - except for the cruise speed at 2050 rpm - 65 kts is a bit slow even with 2 up, so...
