Thanks for all your work in supporting FS2004.
Another fine aircraft for us. :applause::applause::applause:
I've also moved the gauges from the P-51D to the gauges file. Makes no difference.
So strange that we both have the same files, but yours is opposite to mine.
as you say, a complete mystery.
I...
Many thanks for this.
A great addition to our planes.:wiggle:

I've been trying to sort the panel/gauge issue, but I'm not getting anywhere.
The P-51D shows the normal panel but no VC
The other two, P-51DBR & P-51FT show the normal panel and the VC.
What...
I did not even have a look at the VC!
I think that, tomorrow, I'll roll up my sleeves and try sort things out. There is a huge amount that can be dumped.
I've done literally 1000's of installs in...
Gauges & gear all showing & working for me.
Maybe I'm a bit confused... So I unzipped 1A into a temp folder then I unzipped 1B into that folder. I get the following folders..
CWDT_P-51d (

It's Erwin Welker's version, that I found at Flightsim.com.
And I found Kazunori Ito's FS2004 version as well.
I would still love to get hold of a decent FS2004 version though.
A good looking aircraft indeed.
I did have the Virtavia/Alpha TSR-2, & had a lot of fun with it, before my laptop & all my library downloads on portable drives got stolen.
A lot of irreplaceable...

Thanks, I saw that, but I'd prefer freeware.
I quite like the idea of the Sea Vixen, with it's 'coal hole' for the vanigator.
I've found Brian Douglas's one. Are there any others out there?
Surprise Finds (from the 'Good Old Days')?
That's not quite what I envisaged with my original post!! :banghead:
An interesting tip, but lets get back to topic with some more surprise finds?

The 'new' Tictac' looks very white, as if it has no color.. just as pictured in the screenshot.
Not forgetting Mike Stone's planes. Great stuff, with great paints from Garry Smith.
Ahhh, the good old days...
Thanks, Pete, I just spent a lot of time looking at Heather's add-ons. Some forgotten gems there that I downloaded..
Sure. Over the years, I have collected most of these, but one gets wrapped up in looking for the Holy Grail of simming, and forgetting how much fun there is with the older stuff.
Sad that a lot has...
Being a bit bored, I started trawling various libraries, & I found some gems from way back, and what I found really symbolizes the Fun & Fiction side of our hobby.
I re-discovered Kazunori Ito's...
Thanks, Bernard, much appreciated.:applause:
& it works in FS2004? :jump:
Hi Bernard,
What scenery is this? Could be interesting?
Yep, in the sim, Go to 'Settings'
Then 'Display'
Then "Hardware' (on the top row of tabs)
There, you will find a list of screen resolutions, choose one with a lower number that you are currently...
According to www.secretprojects.co.uk, the V8 was the record breaking version.
There were 3 D-0's that were sold to the Japanese Imperial Navy, & about 12 D-1's that were eventially used Heinkel's...
The difference between the He100 D & V8?
I get it that the V8 is the 8th version, is the D the 1st?
