I've been running FSX SE for a few years now. I've yet to run into anything for FSX that won't run in SE. I'm good with it.
Thanks Huub! I'm working on trying to catch up to the rest of the Flight 19 guys online.
I took the cargo amphib for a short flight down the river from Memphis TN to Greenville MS in my old Merc Air paint. Dang, I've missed having this one. Gonna need a few "touch ups & optional...
Thanks Milton again! It seems I was gone longer than I thought I was to have missed this. I've got some serious rust built up on my flying skills and the ol' Twin Beech is a great one to knock it...
I just recently started FS back up after over a year of being away because of a lack of personal time following some real life trauma. Anyway, I've been poking around and wondering if anyone ever...
There I was in in the ol' Stratoliner trying to get over the mountains coming out of Burbank and realised that my cowl flaps wouldn't close. Not surprising considering that it'd been sitting in...
I live in rural NW Tennessee about an hour's drive north of Jackson. Not much up this way but a bunch of small towns. My wife had a freak accident some months ago and has required long term in...
Found this ol' thing in the hanger and am trying to catch up with the guys.
Not everyone has their PMs turned on. Some elect to not bother with them.
I went to Boot at RTC Orlando in '74. Last I heard it's all gone and is a city park now.
And Jeeps. As long as you keep moving, you're good. Once you stop......
Could be good, could be bad, most likely a mixed bag.
As a FSX SE user, I'm curious how it's going to work out. I'd like to see continued support for SE and the default real wx fixed since it...
We did some scud running out to a small island airfield (NZOX?). Kind of a short runway, but not too bad.
The ol' JRS seemed to enjoy the outing. I might just have to take her out of retirement.
Skids and dollies have been done on Me 263 Komets for FS before. Let me dig in my backups to see what I can find.
Somewhere over Burkina Faso....
I'd like to see what they can do with a new version of FS, but based on previous experience, I'm going to hold off on getting too excited about it. Too many years of trust issues with MS when it...
I'm glad you got it sorted. Like you said, different painters, different processes. I still use DXT/Bmp to convert bitmaps to .dds files. I can do it with paint.net but I just like Martin Wright's...
After some four engined fiascos, I made a deal with this guy on some kind of Lockheed Twin. He said he thought it was a modified Lodestar and that's what he put on the bill of sale. No data plates...
On approach at EDFH
It seems that Latvian Customs agents were taking a very keen interest in the old freighter. I guess they figured that whoever owns it can't afford paint, so they probably couldn't afford a lawyer...
The old Super 7 freight dawg waits on it's illicit cargo...
I'm still using my Sidewinder Precision Pro that I bought in 1999. That's a lot of CFS and FS with it. I'm starting to think, you just can't kill the things with normal use.
...
And that spring is still somewhere in orbit..... But the stick still works like a new one.
Paint.net is what I've been using for a few years now. It'll handle PSP and PS files and do anything PS and PSP will do and the price is right to boot. I've got PS CS2 and PSP X. I haven't used...
