Yeah the 32 bit color must be set with note/wordpad.
80062
Also the On side is using 32 bit color "Bilinear filtering", "MIP Maps", "Anti-Alias" and "T and L" turned on with the "Hardware Acceleration"
kdriver
Looks like 1024x768 is the max you can use or CFS2 will defualt to 640x480 in full screen mode. Checked on my end by using the PrintScreen key to do a screen shot than pasted it into a...
After beating my head looking at my working Win10 and your cfg in WinMerge. My conclusion is that it has something to do with the [DISPLAY] Device= key. I can drop your config in and change the...
Attach it kdriver.
Again. You are stuck with 16 bit images because hardware acceleration isn't enabled and must be enabled by editing the cfs2.cfg [DISPLAY] section.
None of the needed changes for Win10 were in the file at all. Using cfg from Win7 will NOT have the needed key for Win10.
Looks like nothing was edited at all. I did the edits and forget getting a resolution like that. This is a game from 2000 built on an engine from 1997.
What do your 2 Display Setting pages look like?
You can edit every thing but the hardware acceleration check box with Win10 and should have no problem with any other settings and once done exit CFS2 THAN edit CFS2.CFG's [DISPLAY] so the hardware...

MS never said what risk caused the removal of SafeDisc/SecuRom. All SafeDisc/SecuRom dose is check and make sure you have the real disk in the CD drive before fully starting the game.
Last I knew...
That makes me think that Safedisc, the disc check program can't run because MS removed SafeDisc and SecuROM with update KB3086255. You can try to remove KB3086255 if you are on Win 7 or 8 and try...
Dose the game start at all? Dose it have an internet connection? If No, you may be fighting Game Explorer or update KB3086255 with Win7.
I'm thinking C:\users\ is likely going to be a problem too. Windows likes to lock things down there as well. As for your BoE CTD I'm going to guess a bad object or you removed a stock object(s) but...
The last thing I can think of is to rename your current CFS2.cfg and let CFS2 make a new one. Than do what I posted above and see if some things is janky with your current CFS2.cfg.
Is the 2nd pic done by PrintSceen key in full screen? If yes than something is vary wrong. What dose it say in the CFS2 Display Setting?
You can set every thing in the display setting BUT the...
What I want to know is what resolution CFS2 thinks it is at while in full screen mode. The only way I can think of to confirm if CFS2 is using the resolution listed in the [DISPLAY] section is to use...
If you cycle to full screen does your monitor show resolution on one of the corners during a normal run of CFS2? Just thinking the resolution is not being read right CFS2 and if your monitor dose...
Never install any old program to Program Files.
Even with Win 10 you should be able to go into the Image Quality settings and set the VC to high but this means you must do the copy and paste of the keys again.
The high detail key for the VC is...
I think patching CFS2 to use 4GB broke Mission Builder....
Mission builder is apart of the CFS2.exe it self. Make a copy of the normal shortcut to start CFS2 and Name it Mission Builder than in the Target path add /BUILDER: at the end. Your Target path...
