Description: This...
My first day at Valkenburg, I addressed somebody with his first name, instead of his rank. Everybody was shocked (We went to the same military school together...).
The second day I wanted to help...
Still some minor corrections to do, and I need to align the invasion stripes on the wings. But I think I'm slowly getting there.... Even the camera has already been installed.
...
Nice dramatic shot!

The "V" on the tail stand for NAS Valkenburg (or Fliegerhorst Katwijk during WWII). Which was a naval airfield very close to where I live. I can't recall to have seen the Seahawk, but I can remember...
That shouldn't be too complicated. I have to check how I can bypass an anomaly in the texturing of the left wing. Bur for the rest it is all straight forward.
Cheers,
Huub
SC,
Thanks for all your nice repaints :encouragement:. They survived time!

Hi Robin,
The donationware P51 can be found in the donationware section of our library. There are two versions. The one with the birdcage canopy and the version with the Malcolm hood. Add-Ons...
The answer is already given. So I'm a bit too late for the party. But I finished my RAF repaint for the Donationware P51. Instead of another Polish Mustang, I decided to do one from No 19 Squadron.

The donationware P51 B/C with a repaint by Sopwith Chameleon. I really loved the model when it was released, although it actually looks so simple now. I think I paid $2 for it...... Now it has become...
Hi Papi, I was sure I had the scenery somewhere as it was in one of my "to install" folders. But I was unable to find it, so I must have deleted it.
Although I'm not a 100% sure, but I though I...
Darren, it doesn't make sense to get angry at people because they won't fly or advertise your creations. You simply can't force people to like what you have made. And there is simply too much...
Thanks, Model by Shessi, repaint by me. Both available in the library here.
A beautiful model, but how does it compare with Akemi's model?
Cheers,

Years ago we had a repaint contest here at the SOH. The challenge was to create a repaint for the donationware P51. I'm quite sure one of the entries was a RAF repaint, but I can't find it anywhere...
I am not aware there is one. A while back I started this repaint based on the paintkit by David Green. It was intended for the RAF Coolham scenery by Motormouse. But as I ran into some problems (see...
Thanks for the screenshots NavTech :encouragement:. The quality is better than I had expected and definitely the same level as the photo real textures from NL2000.
The fun from photoreal textures...
Mid 1943 the FW190s from JG1 at Deelen received checker board cowls. This was done to to make the aircraft easier to recognise and would facilitate easier re-formation. These checker boards...
Nice screenshots Rawsthorne and beautiful clouds :encouragement:
Cheers,
Huub
Can somebody post some screenshots to show what it looks like?
I can recall these textures were still available for download, but I have never seen the quality. When I'm honest, I think most photo...

Although they are definitely interesting, I don't consider the MC.200 and G.50 good looking aircraft. However their successors, the MC.202 Folgore and the G.55 Centauro are among the most beautiful...
