Looking at the recent 737 MAX crash I wouldn't be so sure about RW betas :(
That‘s very goodnews indeed and I‘m glad that your recovery seems to work out so well. :)
You have to recover soon since highly skilled FDE designers like you are very rare!
all the best, ...
Ah, now your previous post/'observation' makes sense. LOL
Although VR is nice and definitely increases immersion, the resolution is still too low and I can't imagine flying IFR with approach charts etc. in VR.
I'll definitely stick with my large monitor....
You will be pleasantly surprised since the 'glass' 172 has a completely new FDE built from scratch :)
+1 Same here. i7700k 4.2GHz non-oc, GTX1070. Frames locked at 60fps for completely smooth aerobatics and maneuvering. No cfg tweaking at all.
You forgot to add that if you want a C172 that performs and handles (including slips and spins) like a C172, the Carenado version will be enough as well.
Just updated my GTX1070 with the new 411.70 drivers for troubleshooting in P3D. No noticeable change.
Have you read YoYos post?
I'm really surprised performance here, in P3D I have here 80-100 fps with G1000 in VC! What is was impossible before in models with G1000 of Carenado (30-40 fps). Really...
I fully agree that it's nice to know that an (most likely at least systems wise) better DA62 is in the works. It's just the way it has been communicated that's not ok IMO, especially since newly...
+1 Furthermore I don't consider it exactly fair or polite to hijack a thread almost immediately and link it to a competitors product which hasn't even been released.
What? Care to explain?
The main advantage for me is that they finally will get rid of the awful and bugged grid-magnetic-true-north mix due to the flat world model.
FYI, although the Alabeo 421 flies already very nice, you can expect a slightly improved FDE for it soon.
Fear not. I will not make the error to post here ever again.
1. I'm happy that you didn't loose interest in the Carenado version despite tailspin45s claim that the Carenado version flies nothing like the real thing.
2. Exactly. The D18 roll rate is a good...
Just installed Miltons Beech and flying his version at 2000ft, 180kts, no pax no payload, 50% fuel, I need 4 sec for an aileron roll to the left and 5sec to the right. With the Carenado version the...
And? Where's the problem? I'm loving it when people are getting personal for no reason (see your previous post) and they don't know what they are talking about.
Unfortunately this most of the time...
1. Wrong assumption and I don't know how you want to 'generalize' MOI values. Furthermore MOI numbers have very little to do with sluggishness etc.
2. It's exactly the opposite. The Carenado D18 has...
Oh my. It's already bad enough that you are flooding another forum with your super-negativity and your apparently faulty installation and/or faulty joystick setup.
You might not believe it, but...
You definitely don't need accusim, 'external FDE' etc. to simulate propwash. It's a standard option in the airfile. I don't know why some designers don't use it. Of course you need a finely tuned...
Seriously?
Did you try clickspot 5?
The 767 yoke turns much further than 45deg. Approximately close to 90deg. Check this scene: https://youtu.be/jJa-I_7zs_c?t=207
Why should Boeing use different yoke limits on the 757 and 767? It's...
