Just saw it too. I've been listening to and loving his music since I received his album 'Son Of A Son Of A Sailor' as a Christmas present back in the 70's. Today is a very sad day in Margaritaville....

This is wonderful. I've always liked the Douglas M-2, and it's great to see it in flightsim. Thank you so much Jorge! :applause:

Beautiful! :encouragement:

Steven D. Myers made really nice models back in the day. It would be nice to see them again. :encouragement:

You can definitely try to convert his Skyship. I remember years ago someone tried to convert the model for use in FS2004...they weren't successful. Back in the day I was one of the beta testers for...
I'd be over the moon if someone could convert Bill Lyons' Fuji blimp from FS2002 to FSX. You can actually view the model using ModelConverterX but the animations are pretty messed up.
Brian
This'll be a 'must have'. Looking forward to it! :encouragement:
Brian
Excellent! Thanks so much for all you've done to improve this aircraft. :encouragement:

I'm flying the Buccaneer in FSX Sp2 and I see no stutters at all. Strange.
Brian
Get well soon, Francois.:wavey:

Thank you so much for all your hard work bringing this project to completion. :loyal: I had no idea the Cub ever had a tri-gear modification. She's a lot of fun flying her from the front seat....
Thank you very much, Dino! This is very kind of you. :applause:
Brian
Lovely model! Does anyone know if this aircraft can be converted for use in FSX?
Brian
Fantastic! Thanks Wittpilot! :encouragement:

A military interior would be nice. I'm thinking you'd need access to the source files to change/remove items from the interior. Maybe you could re-texture Teddy and give him a USAF shirt?
Brian
Love the USAF VIP paint. Now to figure out which VIP left their Teddy Bear in the aircraft. :biggrin-new: Thanks Tom! :encouragement:
Brian
Very interesting. This is all new to me as well. Thanks for sharing this. :encouragement:
Brian
But you passed along the tip.:biggrin-new: Thank you NormB! :encouragement:
Brian
Glad to help, Ian. :wavey:

Hmm, that's strange. I opened the MDL file using XVI32 and clicked 'seach' and then 'find'. I then searched for the Hex String 68 00.

This found the bit that we're looking for.

I'm in! :biggrin-new: Many thanks for that wonderful tip, Mick. :encouragement:

This looks wonderful, Roland. :applause: Thank you so much. The overhead, wheel, and the cup holders in the cabin, all look great. Before this the wood below the cup holders was showing to be above...
The overhead is pretty much destroyed. Ha ha.

I'm seeing the same thing in FSX SP2. When I view the JG_JSII int FSX2.mdl file using ModelConverterX the wheel looks just like it does in FSX. Looking at the pre-beta int files using ModelConverterX...
I renamed the panel vc 1024,1024.cfg to panel.cfg and see no CTD's. Thanks for the help, Roland.
