I let MSFS/MS Store version install to the default location many moons ago (when it first came out). However - I did point it at a separate/dedicated HD - not on my system/C drive. The whole install...
I got a quick response from support at GAS (many thanks!!) - recommending that I point the EXE to a temporary location (then copying over)rather than directly into my MSFS Community folder.
That...
Unfortunately, it appears that the SimMarket archive is incomplete (or the installer doesn't extract everything correctly). No textures or liveries.
I've just fired off an email to GAS:
I...
Perfect!!! Many thanks. I'm going to really enjoy this wonderful aircraft again!
Genius!!! Landing was perfect - and not too twitchy on take off roll. This was with just those two values changed. All my tests are with zero wind, BTW. One problem though - the tail now sits...
Worked for me - many thanks! However - I found the dh-89 quite "squirrely" - and almost impossible to keep in a straight line on the take off run. I'll revert back to the old cfg and see if it was...
Thanks for the suggestion - I'll do it that way!
The JV/MJ C-47 was one of my favourite aircraft in FSX and P3D, so I'm glad to pay something back for all the pleasure those models gave me.
...
Right ... I've found three zip files. It's been a long time since I did my RNZAF Warbirds livery for the C-47 so I really can't remember which one I used as a starter.
I've no idea which of the...
I'll have a dig through my old HDD backups. I'm sure I must have had this at some stage.
Has this landing pitch-over problem been fixed - or is it just me?
No problems here(!!) ... have you got the latest version? I think I had that problem with an older model.
Superb!!! Many thanks, Rob!!
It's 1.1 in disguise!!! If you download it and extract it, you'll see a 1.1 folder in there instead :)
Heh - I hope my pervious post didn't come over as a whine!! Axis mapping is a disaster in MSFS. Eg. The AH Spitfire has about 3 axes mapped incorrecly (reversed).
One thing I noticed was the the...
Confirmed here. I could have sworn this wasn't a problem with the previous version (!).
Dave! I have a feecher/request for you! :wavey:
For some reason, I'm finding that the idling speed is pegged out at just over 1,000rpm - even though my throttle is fully back (confirmed in the...
Thanks again for porting this beauty over to MSFS!
One small problem: on a manual/cold & dark start, is the only way to start the engines CTRL-E (the old FSX hack)? I can power them up and get...
Dave - you're a real f-sim superstar!!!! Always great to see your work appearing - especially now for MSFS!!
Hi Aharon, buddy .. did you try posting on NZFF? I could have sworn I saw a post from you *somewhere* asking about "old" C-47/DC-3 liveries ...
I used to try to keep up with all the NZ liveries on...
Many thanks!!!
You need to locate the file windshield.dll and either rename it (eg. windshield.inactive) or grab the new version from A2a: https://a2asimulations.com/product-category/free/
Adam.
I'm sorry to say that with the updated ATS An-2, I "chickened out" and installed it straight into the main P3D folder.
I'm really struggling these days with appalling short term memory loss, so...
I'll check my own setup, seeing as I wrote that "guide". There may be an additional step required that's specific to the An-2.

Well ... I'd be interested to hear if anyone else gets this white-out lights issue. The weird thing is that I don't get it with any of the other MJ C-47 variants ... only the PBR one. Here's what...
Just check that your texture.XXXX folders are exactly the same as in the aircraft.cfg section. Some of the folder names needed to have "_PBR" appended to them (or vice-versa).
