Thanks! Ya...the only real difference is the header xml that is in the FS9 folder,as FS9 doesn't use GUIDs like FSX does. All versions have the cloud sprites saved as .cld models. So basically, you...
Hey all! i wanted to point something out to you guys...I had been trying to figure out how to get better looking clouds, and started doing some research on how cloud sprites were made in FS. It turns...
Those are actually quite useful! That last pic was the only reference pic I could find. Thanks!!
Starting to look like something....added some wear and tear....still need to do some oil stains and such.......
Thanks guys! Ya...still need to get the weathering in, but I wanted to get the base down first....I wish I could find some more reference photos of this bird. Most of the references I could find were...
So I gave the nose art a bit of an overlay using a wet brush to make it look like it was hand painted on.....what do you all think? (Still need to do weathering and work on the rear fuselage,...
Thanks Shessi! Ya,my FS9 is tweaked as much as possible and I am using a custom Enviroment map.
Good information there! That will help quite a bit when it comes to weathering and detailing!
Started adding variations in the paneling color of the main fuselage....I do have a question though...maybe you would know Huub.....Were the nose markings and invasion stripes and such gloss or...
Using what I have practiced, and applied it to my old "The Big Hairy Bird" paint for Milton's Marauder...I think I am starting to get the hang of it! The Missouri Mule II is showing how I had had...
Definitely a WIP, but the details are really starting to come alive! Using a soft brush with a 25% flow on the base coats, and a 10% flow for the...
Thanks Huub! Still trying to find a perfect setting, but I think this version looks better....
Used to build models when I was younger and had an airbrush that I used to use....Never realized that you can do the same methods of shading and everything in Photoshop....Just a quick throwing...

Ok Milton, I think I have might of found a work around.....I will keep you posted...
Totally understand.
Milton,
So I have started on the interior.....but.....is there any way to increase the resolution of the cockpit area? I know that means redoing the texture mapping, but it seems that the resolution...
Hasn't died Milton....just been busy with work so I haven't had a chance lately.....Off tomorrow and Wednesday though, so I should be able to get something done......That is if the wifey hasn't got...
Gaucho-Make sure you are not just copying everything from one engine to the other as they are not exactly mapped the same. It looks like that seems to be the problem.
Looking great Gaucho! If Milton hasn't responded in the next couple of hours, I will check to see....I want to say it is something like misc.bmp or so...but not 1000% postive. Still at work, so I...
