No trick to get it to work, just select DX10 and restart the flightsim. I do believe you have to have a 200 generation Nvidia card for it to work tho, I cant comment on ATI as i've never owned one. ...

That is precisely what happens with newer systems designed to run using DX10.
The problem is that FSX is no longer supported with updates to bring DX10 fully up to speed!
