I'd consider going into the aircraft.cfg, flight-tuning section and reducing the yaw stability. Many WWI planes had poor yaw stability - although I don't know specifically about the Pfalz.

I have no idea if my experience would apply, but I was having frequent stutters, and CTDs after about 20 minutes of flying. I tried dis-enabling (unclicking) every scenery in the FSX Scenery Library,...
I third dharry's comments.
Correction: Oops, there's no need to use the Orbx free "global" airports within the Orbx regional sceneries, since the Orbx regional sceneries already include upgraded airports.
You might already know this, but I thought I'd add that in addition to their payware airports, Orbx offers hundreds of free "Global" airports. I have used these free airports in conjunction with...
I combine Megascenery V2 and V3 sceneries with Orbx airports all the time. I simply enable (click) both the MSE scenery and the Orbx airport in the FSX Scenery Library, with the Orbx airport located...
Yeah, autogen, that's what I'd like to know.
I detect an enormous performance hit because I keep staring at the amazing cloud shadows, lose track of where I'm flying, and suffer CTGs (Crashes to Ground). :frown-new:
The first time I installed the Cloud Shadows it didn't work. I then simply installed it a second time and now I have cloud shadows.
Could you please be a little more explicit about what you mean by "convert the effect." Is this a particular adjustment in the Fixer? Or...?
Thanks
I'm building my own realistic home cockpit for simulated flying of drones. I've fabricated a desk, have mounted a monitor on it, and have located a comfortable chair. With a hotas stick and...
I was wondering if when the DC-3 is parked cold and dark with wheel chocks set, there could be a tired, forlorn-appearing but very determined AI guy, busy polishing the DC-3? :witless:
For me the ultimate is MSE 4x, which is good down to about 1,000' AGL, combined with an ORBX airport (e.g. Palm Springs) which includes a very large 3D scenery area surrounding the airport.
I have Orbx SCA and it's great. But I'm also very impressed with MegasceneryEarth's new extremely-high-resolution "4x" scenery for southern California. I've done a lot of comparing between Orbx and...
Surprisingly, MegasceneryEarth (photoscenery) and Orbx are compatible. If you have both turned on, the Orbx airports and scenery objects remain, but the photoscenery replaces the Orbx autogen...
With Orbx SCA I had problems with low frame rates, stuttering and CTDs, mainly in the vicinity of the Long Beach area. Turning down the FSX autogen setting didn't seem to help much, but turning down...
I love it. Painted, aluminum and polished versions, interesting highly-tapered wing, radial engine, perforated underbelly flap. There's even a military (CAP) version. Looks great! :applause:
I checked a C152 POH and it shows a max. rate of climb of 715 fpm at a gross weight of 1670 lbs., at sea level and with a temperature of 15 degrees C. When I tried the Carenado C152 (after my cfg....
I've got a few hours in a real C-150 and C-152, although I'm definitely no expert on them. I got tired of dragging my Carenado C-152 in on final with full throttle, barely reaching the threshold. ...
I agree totally. I haven't tried the JF Corsair yet, so I have no opinion about its flight characteristics. But I have run into some FSX flight models that do feel very sluggish. These planes...
I'm really sorry, but I think I'll have to get it too.:shame:
I found the video interesting, but winced at the strong negativity expressed regarding what appears to be a nice JF rendition of the Corsair. Criticism is fine, but not to the point where we drive...
"...keep the data intact for 13.8 billion years..."
That's nice, but I think I'll hold off on any purchases until they get the storage duration up to 14 billion years.
:jump::jump::wiggle::applause:
I tried out the Legacy V2 last night - quite impressive!
