:icon_lol:
Here's something odd looking ..:
Hails from the deep south over here. The MSU XV-11A.
Here's me with a free day, and no mysteries to work on till Moses surfaces again. Ah well.......
Mystery on the way-
Haven't had a lot of time to research this - looks East European again.
Tail unit and nacelles certainly don't look American. (Plus the lack of whitewall tyres and gentlemen with knickerbockers and bow ties :icon_lol:)
This one hails from Western Europe. From a well known company-
Potez 35
Open board - unfortunately no time to dig anything up.
Well spotted Potez, sir. Here's an easy one...
:icon29: for the Potez- which was supposed to be a night bomber!
I think Lefty has posted a Benes-Mraz Be-252C.
He has indeed. :icon29:Quote:
I think Lefty has posted a Benes-Mraz Be-252C.
This one should not be too difficult.
Well it may not be diff-i-cult to you, hotdawg, sittin' there with the answer 'n all, but it sho 'nuff tricky for us ol' boys out here.
Looks like a good ol' Waco that's had a acc-i-dent and had one of them goldurned limey dee Havilland tails grafted on !
You okay Mike? Running a fever maybe? Your speech sounds a bit off.:icon_lol:
I really thought this one would be zapped right away. It does look like a Waco/de Havilland love child but is not related to either.
Six built and you won't find it over at Aerofiles...
Not even a shot in the dark?
The cabin biplane is a Avro 641 Commodore of 1934. Interesting that two saw service with the RAF at the start of WWII.
Something more modern perhaps-
I think it could be the P-300RG with the pusher prop and built by Equator Aircraft. I understand in fact the only Poschel to actually get wet feet during trials
Spot on wout. :icon29: Over to you.
A whirly bird. Sorry for the crude way of masking the ads on the walls which would give away too much.
I think this one's been posted - quite a while ago. I remember its lurid colour, more suited to a 2cv or DS - it's the Citroen RE2 Wankel-engined model.
Available with optional automatic transmission and swivelling headlights.....
for Lefty :medals:
Never ever post a bird twice. Once is enough to engrave it in Lefty's gray matter ;)
The Citroen logos kindly left by Wout were the final clincher ! (Sorry about the spelling, chaps, but I can't find the diaeresis for the 'e' in Citroen even on the French keyboard !)
Here's a nippy wee chap..
